June & July 2016 music roundup

Well, July was a pretty simple month for music, so I've combined it with June, which was long overdue. Overall I'm up to 377 albums for year. My goal was an album a day, so now I'm shooting for an average of two per day. We'll see how it goes.

Older releases: I listened to the full discography of Leaves' Eyes and it was great. There was some interesting foreign screamo/experimental stuff that was pretty good. I also caught up on a bunch of missing albums from favorite bands—Run Kid Run, Search the City, Sherwood. Mree is amazing. Plus I finally listened to Allister and I'm kicking myself for never listening to them before because they're incredible.

Recommendations: Leaves' Eyes, Mree, Allister, Thrice, blink-182, and Broods. Plus other stuff, but give that a whirl first.
